How do I know who t trust? In reality, you can never be certain, but think about what you are being told.
I have been working with computers since 1972. I have seen lots of changes. I have made my share of mistakes. I have learned many things to avoid, many fixes, and how to troubleshoot.
My focus when you have a problem is trying to get you back to the point before the problem happened. To make you whole. That is not always possible.
First, I help you decide what you should do. Should I get a new computer? I don’t sell them, but I can help you make an informed decision.
After that decision, we decide how to proceed.
I check your computer. If I cannot repair, I do not charge. I do charge if we can agree on a remedy for your problem.
What is a typical charge. For a simple repair requiring no parts, I usually charge $100.
